“Brooloo Park” is a working horse and cattle property situated on the banks of the Coonoon Gibber Creek, in the scenic Mary Valley. It is a 270 acre working property that was converted from an old dairy to beef cattle more than 10 years ago.
We discovered this slice of “Heaven on Earth” here in 2005 and signed the contract to purchase this special place on the 5.05.2005! This began our process of putting all of our plans and dreams into action as we have a passion to keep a piece of the Australian Bush alive for future generations.
To do this we are working with a range of sustainable farming practices (Back from the Brink - Peter Andrews) and are working in collaboration with environmental/conservation groups (such as Land for Wildlife and MRCCC) to re-vegetate the remnant vegetation along the banks of the creek, which runs through the whole property.
It is host to a range of “Real Aussie Outback Experiences” including guided trail rides, natural horsemanship demonstrations, working cattle dog demo's, Eco-stays and B&B Farm-stays. “Brooloo Park” is 5 mins east of the small country town called Imbil and is within easy reach of Noosa on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. We are on the steps of the great Borumba Dam.
